One of the most tragic things you can experience is to receive the miracle that you have been waiting on for years and years, only to wind up loosing it. Sadly to say this does happen to a large percentage of people, simply because they have not been taught how to maintain or hold on to the miracle that God gives them.
Learning how to maintain your miracle is equally as important as receiving a miracle. In my own opinion I believe that this is why some miracles are delayed, not because God does not want you to receive, but He wants you to be able to hold on to it when it manifest.
The Bible teaches in Mathew 12:43-43 “When an evil spirit leaves a person, it travels through the desert, looking for a place to rest. But when the demon doesn't find a place, it says, "I will go back to the home I left." When it gets there and finds the place empty, clean, and fixed up, it goes off and finds seven other evil spirits even worse than itself. They all come and make their home there, and the person ends up in worse shape than before.”
What this means is that say for instance you get Healed of AIDS which has been caused by a demonic spirit of Infirmity. When you receive your miracle the spirit is cast out of your body. But oftentimes as the bible says it will try and come back and enter back into you. ("When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out." Luke 11:24). You must be sure that you are fully armed and protected with the full armor of God so that this does not happen to you. I don’t mean to scare you by telling you this but I don’t want you to loose what God has for you because of ignorance it is time for us to become knowledgeable of our adversaries ways.
Below I list just a few brief ways on how to maintain your Miracle. This list is by no means exhaustive but desinged to just give you a few pieces of aresnol that you can use against Satan when and if he attacks you in the area of your miracle.

Steps To Maintaining Your Miracle
"What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time." Nahum 1:9
1. Refus To Give In To Fear- Fear is one of the greatest weapons the enemy uses to rob people of their Miracle. Over and over in the Bible God warns of giving into fear. The term "fear not" is used over 150 times in the bible. why because God new that man innately is just inclined to fear. When fear tries to attack you (usually in your mind), confess aloud what Gods word says in 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind." 2. Ask God To Help You Began To Change Your Thinking. Over and over the Apostle Paul talks to us in the Bible about the subject of the mind. Your mind is one of the biggest roadblocks that satan will try to use against you. He will try and put all kinds of negative, depressing, self-defeating thoughts in your mind. Therefore you must make it a point to renew your mind in the area of your miracle, by staying in the word of God as much as possible and allowing the Holly Spirit to transform your mind to the reality of what God has in you and for. Sometimes the mind has to play catch-up to the Spirit of God in you.
3. Watch What You Say-The Bible says that the power of death and life in your tongue and that you will have whatever you say. You can actually lose your miracle by talking against it. Word are extremely powerful whether you realize it or not, and have a big influence over your circumstances both positively and negatively, depending on your own confessions. Remember to confess what the word of God says about your miracle. (Proverbs 18:21)
4.Keep Your Focus on God And Not Your Circumstances- Oftentimes when people receive a miracle from God, the devil will try and come back and revisit you with whatever circumstances your were experiencing prior to receiving your miracle. The purpose of this is to make you feel as if God really did not give you the miracle that you though. This is a trick from the devil. It is extremely important that you maintain your ground, maintain your confession of your miracle. Do not give in to the urge to confess and or say what you may see or feel in the natural. "For we walk by faith and not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7)
5. Stay Away From Negative People Who Spread Doubt And Unbelief. Negativity is extremely poisonous. The bible says in Hebrews 12:15 " Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;"
6. Keep An Attitude of Thanksgiving And Praise To God For Your Miracle.
7. Keep your focus on the word of God in the area of your Miracle. "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." (Proverbs 4:20)
8. Continue to confess what The Word of God says about you in the area of your Miracle. (See scriptures to help maintain your Miracle)
9. Fellowship And Commune With God On A Daily Basis. The closer we stay to Him and hear His voice the less likely we are to listen to the voice of the devil or others.
10. Make It A Point To Share Your Miracle With Others. Other people will be blessed and encouraged as you share what God has done for you. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. (Rev 12:11)

Scriptural Confessions For Maintaing Miracles
One of the greatest and most powerful ways that I have learned to maintain the miralces that God has given me is by using the word of God. It is by for the the most powerful and most effective thing that you could ever use.
Make it a point to read or confess some are all of the scriptures over your life as often as possible.
Ecclesiastes 3:14
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
Nahum1:9 Whatever you devise against the LORD, He will make a complete end of it. Distress will not rise up twice.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
Romans 3:4 "God forbid; yea let God be true but every man a liar."
